one more problem

  1. hey, sorry if i'm posting a few too many threads at once . . . anyways, i have another quick question . . . my two new sprouts have sprouted in rockwool cubes and I'm afraid about two things:

    1) the premade hole in the cube is a little too deep for the seed.

    2) the seed is not going to root in such a way that the seed with the embryotic leaves will surface . ..

    any suggestions?

  2. Don't touch them and leave them alone. Plants were here long before we were. They know what they are doing. I don't know your set up or what you are doing and it's hard to tell from your post. I do know plants know what they are doing, there are things we can do to help (pruning, hydro, grow lights for the right amount of time) that sometimes noture can't do but the plants are "trained" to survive.

  3. okey dokey thanks alot

  4. well, you were right
one of the three that i recently germinated has produced cotylydons
one has rooted and is on his way towards the top
and the other has yet to root but shows a fresh shoot protruding from the shell and should root by tomorrow or the day after.

how does the plant know which way is up? does it naturally have a sense pressure from gravity n'such? or is it something else? anybody . . .

  5. I know that you sould always try to plant seed that have already germnated with the root tip down but after you already have they planted No mater what way they face for the most part they will make it. I know light help.
