One day, the sun will die.

  1. Nobody lives forever, we all know that but have you ever stopped to realize that one day, nobody will ever live?

We understand that many people have lived before us and gotten us to where we are today, and after our short contribution the world goes on and many more generations will live and die giving rise to the next. We're all just taking turns, borrowing stuff from the planet then leaving it for the next people. This cycle goes on forever..but it doesn't because one day (if we make it that long) the sun is going to burn out (seriously) and life is going to be screwed.

What do you think? Is all this just a total waste? Do you think we'll find a new way/new place to survive (adapt)? Has this happened before in a different solar system long before us? How old is space anyway?

Who knows, it's interesting to think about our inevitable demise. We had a hell of a run ladies and gentlemen. It's been a real treat.

  2. True.....for Earth

But this post sounds like your forgetting the **perhaps** millions after millions of other civilizations on other planets, other galaxies..... :confused_2:

There will always be something going on

  3. that makes too many assumptions. if we don't kill ourselves, we'll figure out a way out of the whole dead sun thing granted 4 billion years of planning.

  4. haha, another Apocalypse, but eventually like said, we will extinct like dinosaurs and a new life form will begin.

  5. Life is not a waste. It is the best thing that can happen to the universe. Life will always exist as long as biology does. I think we will migrate to new planets long before earth is done for.
