What book(s) should i read before I get into growing? i currently know pretty much nothing about it, other than vegatative, flowering state. don't even know anything on how to setup a small growroom. i figure a book will be easier to find out my answers than just keep asking the forum
Look up the sub forums on this forum I think it's cannabis cultivation, some crazy good growers on this forum plus you can ask them questions!
Well for starters, most of the books on growing cannabis are absolute bullshit. Secondly, it'll take more than just a day or two to know everything you really need to know to grow plants. Just take a watch on this forum in the growing forums.
Don't waste money on books. I found this to be one of the better sites when I beganhttp://www.growweedeasy.com/
No book specifically on growing will give you anything more than you can get here, and usually far less. Every grower has their tips and tricks, we all have the way that works best for us, or that we THINK works best...but no two growers grow in exactly the same conditions, so there's no "one size fits all" answer to ANYTHING. Best thing you can do is ask multiple people, listen to their opinions. Listen CAREFULLY if they start explaining WHY they do something a certain way, especially if they're using facts that can be confirmed elsewhere (for instance, while figuring power needs, if someone starts showing calculations for electrical issues, it's a safe bet that his reasons are solid as rock, even if his methods may not be applicable to you. If someone starts showing you principles of botany or biochemical properties that you can confirm on a college course or scientific website, chances are what he's saying is rock solid, even if his methods aren't yours or someone else's that just plain work better for you).
YouTube, Google, and the forums. It takes time, but I wouldn't waste money on a book. My grow journal http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1323166-another-noob-his-first-grow.html
