Old school

  1. This gourd sat in my garage for almost 40 year uncut. Super dry when I opened it. Normally we would throw some bolts in the gourd and shake it as a way of cleaning it out. No need on this old one. Took 2 bars of surfboard wax to seal it up. Anyone else remember using these?

  2. I never have but it looks cool. What are you using for a downstem? If I were to make any recommendation, it would be to switch that aluminum bowl and (plastic?) downstem to glass.

    Otherwise, it's gourdeous.

  4. Nothin' like that...But I've hollowed out a few good melons in my time and a variety of vegetables.

    Because the state of Utah requires you to be 19 to buy pipes...Otherwise, honestly, I would have just bought a pipe.:coolalt:
