Once you study my madness, you'll understand better. Start with good soil, water plants properly (Lift those pots, allow soil to lighten up, don't water if too heavy. Proper lights and warmth, and proper ventilation. When all things are balanced, plants drinking and thriving then PH is self regulating.
SG1, Been studying up on breeding. How long do you let your girls flower before you pollinate? Obviously there needs to be some pistils, but do you wait for the buds to reach a certain size? Of all the threads I've read, don't think I've seen anyone say. Im not in a rush to start breeding, just collecting the knowledge so when I see those special girls/guys I'm prepared.
If your'e lucky you wont have to worry about it and the male you take care of it for you before you know hes in the room. Ughhh this is funny at least a bit yeah?
Its taken me 3 solid weeks to read this thread... I'm in Massachusetts and our laws allow us to grow finally, I'm growing in two rooms specifically made for our grow op. Each 13x15 I'm growing in coco and soulless mix under 2 1000w hps. Ones a single the other is a double ended. My double ended side of the flower room is producing huge growth and btw I'm growing mostly kush, and that side of the room is probably neck high with plants. My question is do you know of a way to loose the hood? I hear de bulbs are made to be horizontal only. Any ideas as to keep the advantage of the de bulb while loosing the hood and going cheap old bastard style.
wrap ur walls with reflective material and I wont name a brand, I imagine depending on ur lumines produced you would need to adjust that to not burn ur plants, but I have never had an issue using it
why do you need to ditch ur hoods?Sorryi Im still learning this forum format and thinking im on a new page but your question is directed towards SG. I don't know why I keep doing that dangitt. Bare with me Ill get it. Maybe I need to go to sleep instead of sitting up all night reasearching on a brain drain binge from looking at plants 24/7. Ughh apologies.
Hoods are pretty much as is, and hard wired for its use. Grow shops sell unhooded drop sockets for about $25, that's what I use. Runner hoodless is a system, and needs to turn the room into a giant hood with mylar to reflect all usable light. Waste of time without mylar. Also note that for your room size, you'll need to double your lights to 4000wts at a minimum.
I was asking because I'm running out of vertical space, my hps is double ended style bulb, probably new fangled for ya. But have read I cannot use in a vertical fashion. My other option would be to monster crop and fold my stalks to keep light on them. But I'm in week 3 of flower and not sure the issues so late into flower. So I could I guess add another 2000 watts of 1000w hps to the room but won't happen for a few weeks as my grow shop doesn't have the 240v lighting controller I need to wire to my breakers. I have wire for the job just need to figure out if I can use a 110v dedicated outlet to pump 220v to my rooms. Then I could use my standard cords from my ballasts.
Hey guys I've been asking what's wrong with my ladies but not much luck. Hoping some tips from some masters would help. They are watered about every 4-5 days with ph water to 5.7-6.3 using dutch nutrients A and B gro. 37.5 ml of each A and B in 15 litres of water. Lighting is 1 600w hortilux blue full spectrum MH. Strain is Pineapple Chunk from Barnes. I think it is a nuits issue but not sure if to much or not enough. Any advice would be great. Thanks. The leeves almost look like there getting rust on them and getting very dry. These pics were taken just after watering and lights turning on those were a few day ago. The next ones are today
not much info to go on don't knoiw that nute line, most in here use org. soil not nutes. seems like alot of the nutes but brands mix different i use 5 - 10ml in 4 gals. but are you pouring or letting it slash on the leaves ? alot more info may give more clues and or searching for threads that use the same nutes and or medium
I'm in soil and pouring in soil not touching leaves. I'm in Canada and dont have the same as you guys. Soil is pretty good been using for last 5 grows. First time with thus issue. What more would you like to know that way you have more to go on?
how strong of a mix that is ... but pretty much everyone i know using soil uses soil and amends tthere soil instead of using nutes. I use coco which is about as close to soiless in a pot ya can get. without knowing your #'s in and out and environment its just a guessing game for most anybody
If you would have a bit of reading, you'd have found the answer. Your roots are almost toast from all the ungodly additives used to correct the problem. You Sir just need to transplant those girls. New soil = new roots= problem solved. Finding a problem is too difficult to determine. Going straight to the fix is what you need do.
Like KRM said, it's difficult to tell. I'm sure SG would suggest to transplant them girls into bigger pots. If it's a root or nute issue it will be difficult to fix in existing soil. "Fix the problem don't search for it" I'm def no expert, just going off what I've learned on the last 9k plus posts. Good luck with them ladies.
I haven't used any additives to correct anything. Just been feeding like normal. Also just to add. I use new fresh soil for every grow. I never reuse.
They are only 45 days old and in 5 gal smart pots. Which air prune roots. Only thing I have done to them is feed on half strength recommend dose
