i remember the madrasah thing. that was ridiculous. at least according to wikipedia, madrasah is an arabic word for "any type of educational institution, whether secular or religious (of any religion)". to me, that came across as a blatant attempt to take advantage of the american public's unfamiliarity with the arabic language. the power of connotation... although it is, of course, true that he went to a madrasah.
