some of my cotyledons have come up without the seed shell. some haven't uncurled, and some have only 1 leaf. so what's going on? is it because it's old seed? i used the paper towel method and was very careful. they otherwise seem healthy (strong stem, nice and green)...they just aren't "ideal." should i start some new ones? or wait and see how/if they fill out a little better. thanks!
what he means is continues to give them plenty of light and love. Plants are amazingly resielient, they won't just kneel over and die if one little thing isn't right. Continue with your plans as normal, and DO NOT give up on them just yet.
yeah i wasn't going to give up on them, really...just maybe start some new seeds *just in case*. they are still gettin' our love and attention. and all the light and air they need.
