Okay to Contact a "new" dealer?

    Say you have the number of a dealer but you have never really met him before or bought from him.
    Would it be okay to contact him and ask for a hookup?
    What do you think?

    No. If he doesn't know you well enough that you'd have to wonder whether or not its ok, don't be audacious. Ask a direct friend of his maybe to get you in.

    If a friend of the dealer gave you his number, call him and be like so and so gave me your number and are you in the area?
