is purple color really a sign of high quality pot? the other day I was stoned and reading some article on the internet and it shocked me to see color was just an after effect of doing something a certain way? I can't remember. couldn't find the article either. but I wanted to prove to my dealer that this purple stuff he sold me really wasn't that great, color and all
Purps tend to be more dank but purple schwag is possible. Most people prefer purps because of the somewhat different type of high they give u

The answer is no. Does it generally mean good weed? Yes. Does it certainly mean that? No. Genetics, temperature, etc can effect the color.

Purple is just genetics. You could have some super purple strain and grow it really shitty, so it will be schwag. You can also lower the night temps when growing to below 50 degrees I believe, for a couple nights and it will turn purple.

There are legit purple strains.You can tell if it's legit by its smell. But growers will drop the temperature(or if it's grown outdoors it may just turn purple on it's own due to the weather) to make it turn purple to make it look like the bomb. Sometimes they also add food coloring during the grow too.
