    sure, just top dress it and it will decompose like any plant matter.
    but you could extract more medicine out of already vaped bud (ABV), i made cinnamon infused liquor from mine.

    to top-dress, can i just bury it under a thin layer of the same soil that's already in the pot?

    just toss it on top of the soil
    i let it infuse in 180proof alcohol for a couple of days. then strain and mixed with simple syrup and cinnamon essential oil.
