So once when we were baked my friend stephen who is smart he's as smart as me. I don't wanna sound like a dick but i'm an intelligent guy. So we collaborated and made this theory while we were super high lol. took us about ten minutes to explain it to my cousin So his theory is that you live on one string of time which is your life. Everytime you die you relive that life over and over. The next life will never be the same as your last since just like going back in time and killing a bug can change time so would any changed circumstances in your new life. This is where deja vu comes from you only use what like 10% of your brain? in all reality you brain has the compacity to function and understand this process and many other theories like this but since your body only uses that small percentage all those memories and knowledge are stored away only to be brought out at certain moments. Just like deja vu it's a certain event that jogs a memory from a past tangent life and you remember it for a split second. Here's an example of that. Me my cousin and chris were going hunting and we were going to a unit we had never gone too alone. We always went with my cousin's uncle. So we took the wrong road and thought it was the right road. I told my friend every single object/building/business that was on that road even though we later found out we had never been there and were 15 miles from the right road. Our uncle gave us the wrong directions. So just think about this what if your life is an infinite loop playing out every scenario possible for you before it is extinguished. The secrets to that are locked in that 90% of your brain you don't use. wouldn't that be insane? and there could be millions of strands everyones working together and overlapping at different times like a big net. I think there are ways to reach into that kind of knowlege through psychedelics and meditation and such.
hmm i think your onto something. this may be kinda off topic but howcome judges give some criminals 2 life sentences sometimes? do judges know somethin we dont? like you come back in that loop like you said but you have to serve a lifetime in prison because you fucked up in your last life? \\ let the mind-fucking commence
I used to think that "deja-vu" was like us seeing something that we have done before, in another life or something pretty much parallel to your idea. But I remember someone telling me that those deja-vu feelings have been scientifically explained. I was reading about it and they say it is almost impossible to recreate "that" feeling in a lab and stuff, so there is little empirical evidence, heh
Thats crazy man, reminds me of a story my uncle tells. He was out on a ship in the middle of the ocean asleep, and apparently in his dream he saw my cousins playing at my grandmother's house, not really that significant by itself. But... The next day he's able to call home, and he phones up my grandma and asks about my cousins, and she was shocked because he not only knew that they were playing at her house, but he knew the exact time and place they were playing. All while being out in the middle of the ocean on a freighter with no contact to the outside world. There's lots of inexplicable phenomenon like that, you just have to notice them
I get de ja vu every so often and it freaks some people out. Yet, I think the idea of playing out all your life scenarios is very plausible (check the "tenth dimension" stuff on youtube). [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q_GQqUg6Ts]YouTube - Imagining the Tenth Dimension - Rob Bryanton [FULL CLIP].flv[/ame] Instead of rationalizing de ja vu as some sort of memory jog or premonition of the future, I think of it as an unconscious "tapping into" that higher dimension.
Ya i have seen the ten dimensions thing and also string theory kinda stuff. So this kinda fits in with all that. Sad thing is noone can prove any of this O and btw guys if you ever see yourself or break apart this chain of events thats your life in theory it would end all new possibilities in your timeline hence ending it. So no time travel! lol But seriously what if your sould i just a EMF being riding out all of it's possibilities in time through your body and instead of there being parallel universes there are only past and future universes none are alike and none are at the same place in time at any time. Know what i mean?
Deja Vu occurs due to past dreams you have had, not the fact you relive life over and over...no offense it just sounds like complete bullshit though lol. I specifically remember having a dream that I was in 5th grade and handing out papers and tripped and scattered the papers then some crazy ass shit happened and I ended up killing a smurf (yea really weird not being funny it happened in my dream like 10 years ago) Anyway, about 2 weeks later this happened (minus the smurf lol) and it felt so fucked up....my dream basically predicted a 30 second slice of reality, I remember that to this day even though elementary school was a decade ago...
Ya that is true but wait till you have deja vu and point out very specific things in order on a road you've never even seen. That will scare the shit outta ya lol
Smurf-killer! Scourge of Gargamel! @ DuNN: Yeah dude I had to watch that video a couple of times for me to follow it. Their proposed method of time travel I still don't really understand.
Yea but that doesn't mean I get Deja Vu from living a past life where that action happened to me, I think each life is unique.
i just watched it again since you posted it and yeah once all the infinities come into play i get kinda lost haha
Like it said its just a stoner theory it's fun to think about and toy with. Also each life in this theory is unique the same one can NEVER happen again since you play out every possibility for yourself from death at birth to being the world leader. I think that we only use 10% or so of our brains is true. The super geniuses don't even use that much of their brain atleast that's what they say from measuring brain activity right>
Woudn't it be awesome if you could activate all the power your brain has? and be able to consciously use it. I think my head would blow up lol
I've had thoughts on this before, too. Deja vu, premonitions, inexplicable knowledge; these are all pretty common place for me. I've stopped my best friend/now girlfriend from being raped twice from premonitions. Deja vu is every day, but I feel that could be because life is just the same shit over and over. Inexplicable knowledge weirds me out though, I know some things that I have no business knowing. This also goes to how strong our bodies are, if only everything could be coordinated correctly and not have our subconscious restrict muscle exertion. Humans have the potential to be nearly perfect creations....
I believe there is a logical explanation for everything...I don't believe in all that mystical bullshit....or even god for that matter. Your theory is a joke when seen in my eyes, no offense at all to you....chance and past forgotten or even remembered experiences in life:whether personal, from dreams, from stories, from movies, from tv shows, or even from expectations and beliefs cause "deja vu"....but those are just my beliefs. Take them as you want.
