Ok Divorce Test

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Budy2shoes, Sep 14, 2012.

  1. Hey Guys,

So I am living in Oklahoma and going thru a divorce. Long story short came for the weekend with my 3 yr old son ( to see family because I found out she was cheating ) and I got EXTREMELY ill and was not expected to live. I had two life threatening surgeries and during the second bled out and went into a coma for 13 days. I had very little oxygen to my brain for an extended period and my family was told that if I lived I would be brain damaged....

    :hello:FUCK THAT!!!!!!!!!

After waking and having to basically learn to walk, feed myself, ect.... I was starnded here for rehab. My ex to be left my son with me and after six months I filed for divorce in Oklahoma as a resident. We had lived in Texas and she still does.

The judge awarded me temporary custody and said we would revisit the issue at the final hearing. That was 2 years and 5 months ago and I have had my son here with me and he is attending his 3rd year of school here.. She did however get visitation and such.

So the doctors had me on a bathtub full of presciptions from narcotics, benzos, muscle relaxers, blood pressure, ect... the list goes on and on.

So I decided after reading up to give mj a try and have successfully gotten off all meds since 4 months ago. I slowly weaned myself off each medication over about a year period. So I feel like I have made some positive changes for me and my son.

So on the 6th I found out that the ex to be is pushing to go to court as soon as possible after all this time and that the court will be drug testing me for custody. I STOPPED IMMEDIATELY on the 6th and have not used since. My choice was tincture twice a day for pain and related issues.

So my question is anyone from Oklahoma and what kind of test can I expect? Lab test at a facility or being tested at the courthouse with someone watching? I was just smoking a little at first but have been on the tincture for about a month and a half before I quit. Should I expect to test positve after 30 days? Any help appreciated,

    Thanks Budy

  2. Dude congratulations on meeting our Lady Mary and having her help you out!:D

You have not smoked for thirty days? You will be fine just don't smoke again (obviously, but I feel the need to say it for some reason.) Drink a lot of water and shit and piss as soon as you get the urge. Yadda yadda yadda, you know what to do. But if you haven't smoked for 30 days you should be fine. But I am unsure if new technology is out and can read even more minute amounts of substance found in marijuana users.

All in all stay away from the bud for now, and a little after the court date, just in case something else comes up. If you have more pain than usual go back to the meds for now. I hate taking pills and I have since I was 13. Pills are from the devil (unless it's exctasy lol.) Go ahead and keep clean. Exercise will also greatly increase the speed at which the marijuana "residue" exits your body.

Good-luck my friend and congratulations on making it out of such a life threatening situation. You definitely deserve another high :)

    Peace bredda

  3. Glad to hear what weed has done for you!

30 Days should suffice just stay clean until then.

Also, sounds surprising you already learned how to make tinctures. Great way to use weed.

  4. Family or Juvenile court operate according to a totally different set of guidelines. Each court sets their own policies regarding drug testing. Some use reference laboratories, some use hair follicles, and some just test there. I live in a nine-county area, and I'm regularly in the courts on business. Some of the judges won't even consider marijuana use in custody cases, and some go ballistic over it. It literally depends on which judge you get. We have one that says that if he took that into consideration, "I'd have half the county in here." You should be clean for a pee test, but if they pop a hair follicle, it could be a problem. You might want to visit court as a spectator and see how this judge operations.

  5. Hey Guys,

I guess I wrote something wrong. I haven't used tincture since the fifth of this month before that I smoked. So I have been clean for 9 days. I am not using anymore or smoking anymore till I get past all of this. I don't want to use any pills they were a nightmare for me to get off of. Thanks guys and I would be surprised if this small community in Oklahoma is doing hair follicle test but maybe. I was hoping someone from Oklahoma on here could tell me. Thanks again,

    Budy

  6. Dude your soon-be-ex-wife must be such a bitch.

  7. Do you have long hair? If not buzz it right away. If the same hair is on your head as when you smoked you WILL test positive unless you go to extreme measures.

Good luck man, I hope everything turns out right, sounds like you deserve it

  8. Hey guys,

Do you think they will do hair testing???????????

She is definitely a bitch but I guess most people will be when it comes to kids. I dont have long hair, really I don't have much hair on my head I keep it shaved and always have. I am however understandng they could use body hair instead. Arm pit, legs, arms ect....

I would think the judge might find it strange if you came to court with no body hair right?

I have read that hair at 1 and 1/2 inches can take 90 days at least to read negative.....if it does then

I also have been told that they will have to give me a 30 day notice for a court date from the time it is set, but can the judge order a test at anytime? I haven't been in his courtroom for over a 2 years.

    Thanks Budy

  9. So the 30 day thing is kind an average time... An occasional smoker can be clear after just 2 weeks where someone like me who tokes every day and smokes hash it could take up to 3 months...

I went through chemotherapy when I was 19 and 3 months later I couldn't pass a drug test
