Oil vs Cannabutter

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by CaptainCupcake, Feb 9, 2011.

  1. Pros and cons of both, please. Making some party brownies soon and I need to know why everyone prefers butter over oil; I'm assuming it's because butter has way more fat content but couldn't you use coconut oil or something which has a very high percentage of fat? o_O

  2. Butter simply taste better in certain treats. For instance I prefer Buttery brownies then oily brownies.

  3. It depends on taste and the recipe really. You wouldn't want to put cannaoil on your popcorn, or your corn, but you might not want cannabutter for somethings you cook or fry as well.
