Oh Boy... lend a hand please

    - hydro grow -
    - ph was about near 7 -
    - used lemon juice to bring it down to 5.5 -

    ?? is lemon juice a bad thing to use?? did i make a big no no??

    I hope it aint a bad thing cause i use vinegar lol (Soil grow)

    HIGH All, never used Lemon juice or vinager to lower the PH...heard of it, just never used it. If you can go to a Hydro store and pick up the right stuff.

    Get yourself some phosphoric acid (pH down), it releases added oxygen at the roots and is really cheap to buy

    any store such as home depo or like stines garden an gifts carry it?? i dont think i got a hydro store any where neae :)...... could be wrong tho just moved here 4 months ago

    Go to the fish section of walmart. I was hunting down some parts for a dwc grow the other day and I saw "ph up" & "ph down" bottles for something like 59 cents each. The only bad thing is that it's supposed to bring the ph up to an even 7 and it might take a little math to keep it 6.5...... I don't know if that helps you but atleast it's an option.
