OG Kush: Opinions?

    So since you guys are seasoned, what are your opinions/experiences with OG Kush? Oh, and I made this thread because OG Kush is said to be one of the best strains out there, so I wanted to see if all of you agree.

    My experiences with it have been pretty good so far. Gives a heavy, long lasting body high, can last me up to 3 hours. Only problem I have with it is that it can give me couchlock and make me feel lethargic, and doesn't give me much of a cerebral high. I'd say it's great, but not best, I want something that gives both body and cerebral highs.

    Deff one of the best you can't beat true og kush. But yeah it can give you that couch lock you just gotta go do something exciting and it's a very wonderful time

    Why would you expect anything but a couch lock with a heavy indica? I personally use marijuana for that effect and OG kush is top of the line. Id say any bud that is grown right, i dont rally care what its called. As long as there is so many crystals, theres crystals on crystals its all good.

    Strain names are hyped imo. but thats just my 2 cents.

    also try some 50/50 hybrids, not indica heavy, to get body and cerebral high....

    Yea I agree strain names are bullshit. They have crossed some much shit anyways it all tastes and looks the same now.

    I don't read much into strain names either, but OG Kush is pretty reknown no matter what your stance is. And yeah, I couldn't remember whether or not it was a heavy Indica or whether it was a hybrid.

    Some times my friends are talking, "yo man i got some northern lights x og kush and some purple barney and it was BOMBB. " then i see them and its literally the same buds with names written on the bag in sharpie. :rolleyes:

    its funny because i know one of the towns suppliers, and he gets really stoned and decides what to call them lol.

    As long as im high im good. :smoke:


    even if it was hybrid, it was probably some 80/20 indica heavy like most "OG"'s
    find some 50/50 or some straight sativa. totally different world. your gonna not want to sit down and end up running around the house lol

    Then obviously either your friends are just bullshitting you or your supplier is bullshitting you. If you get it from a grower that knows what they're doing, or id it's medicinal, then there is a difference. Again, I was never big on strain names either, but you can't just say all weed is the same.

    some of the best weed ive gotten was OG kush was from a norcal dispensary it was danky as fuck

    When grown correctly, it has the highest THC content of all Kush strains. I only have like 1g of OG kush left :(.

    Lol i mean theres too much straight bullshit strain names. and the dude makes up names to make it sound more appealing when its usually OG kush and sour D. he just calls it names so people buy more and hype it up. he does know the real names though lol.

    I love legit strains that you can tell the difference from, but almost all hybrids, indicas and sativas are the same to me, inside their own category that is (indica is indica, hybrids a hybrid, ect.).

    not to often am i thinking, wow this indica is much different from the last.

    my favorite part of OG is the smell and dark color though. classic looking bud.

    Lol I totally Know what your talking about when i use to sell alittle weed in highschool I would always re-up and forget what I had just bought...So I just looked up dank names or made up funny/cool names to call the weed I was selling

    My favorite made up names:
    1. Governator Kush
    2. Bulldozer
    3. Carcrash Kush
    4. White Eagle
    5. God's Dick (No seriously this freshmen actually bought that)

    Moral of the story, Only trust names when you buy from Dispensaries or Growers, if you can actually trust them.

    But ya I love Og Kush, its on the best buds to just chill to.

    Well obviously I'm not talking about high school kids that call it "Jesus Kush" and give you schwag. I'm talking about dispensaries/people I trust and who know what they're doing.

    hands down my favorite bud. have some good stories with it too.

    first hit of it was right before i had to eat dinner with my family. damn good dinner.

    i smoked a bowl of it with my friend that same night. hed gotten caught and was grounded for a LONG time and was finally deciding to get back into the game a little bit. he took three hits and i finished the rest of the bowl. we went to a school basketball game and he would not go in because he was freaking out so hard.

    took a FAT waterfall hit of it. 20 minutes later i threw up. probably didnt help that i ate half a carton of ben n jerrys. its so fucking weird puking while high.

    in conclusion, id say that its just short of heavenly

    Get that headband kush bruh. OG Kush x Master Kush x Sour Diesel. Body and head high. You do get couchlock tho but you also get the head rushes to go with it. Sick-ass high I can speak from multiple experiences. Copped a quad a this shit like last week still burnin it :smoke:

    I cannot agree with tihs man more, Headband was legendary among my friends, We honestly had someone so high we lost him while trying to walk to the movie theaters. Found him 2 hours later sleeping in a bush. Headband is a must try

    Haha tell me about it.I have got some og kush and a rip out the bong gives me a nice body buzz makes me feel like garfeild but shheeeit the high is great i cant complain.
