Ok, so I have two OG Kush plants, both at week #7 of flowering. At week #5 i checked the trichomes with a x60 microscope. They were around 25% cloudy, 75% clear. So I rushed and started the flush, only water without nutes. Now, after two weeks, the trichomes are around 50/50. The plants start to show signs of nasty nutrient deficiencies, with a couple of leaves falling off. 3 days back I tried to "hurry up" the plants by reducing the light cycle to 11 hours of light / 13 dark. I am worried about the development of the plants, it seems it suddenly slowed after week #5. I was expecting them to be ready by now... Temp in grow tent is around 27 C (80 F) at day and 21 C (71 F) at night. Humidity around 50 - 55%. What do you think - is this the normal behavior for OG Kush? Are my plants lazy? I'm using Hans' Led Panel (85W)... I read somewhere that plants mature slower under led panels. Could this be the case? Thanks a lot!
Why would you flush so soon? You basically deprived that lady of the nutrients she needs to produce buds... Post a picture, I'm not sad enough for today.
hahahaha they will be fine just keep plain water until your trichomes are however you want them. its fine for plants to start losing all of their leaves at the end of their life. next time you grow the strain in your particular set up you will know the timeline for it better, and will produce better buds.
yea I think its a combo of things. Just stay the course and let her finish off. You may have flushed too early but atleast it's something you can correct for the next grow.
Attached are the pictures of my ladies. What do you think, should I continue with plain water until they're ready? I'm now on a 11/13 schedule, should I maybe revert back to 12/12? Thanks!
Its hard to tell without looking at trichomes, but if I had to guess I'd say at least 3 more weeks left on her.
