Fast forward to day ten since I was lazy and didn't post this yet. Things are looking great. My first coco grow years back died, this new stuff is a lot nicer to work with and less salt by far. Plants are touching leafs after only ten days including 4 that I overwatered and went camping for. Here's the girls. Should start to pickup steam now if all goes well.
Well two weeks in today and I'm very impressed with the results. Leaves are very broad and stems have good girth. I'm feeling optimistic this may beat the 8.25 lbs I pulled from here last harvest in dirt. They do drink more for sure and I'm finding I'm watering every third day despite having double the depth of coco I usually ran with dirt. 100 litres every third day of nutes are being consumed, so far 3 feedings and 1 water to get the calcium and nitrogen loaded up into the coco. One more week and it's time for the flip. At this rate they will be monsters.
