I love the understood classiness of pulling out a seasoned wooden pipe, loading it up, and puffing on it. any likeminded blades out there? I'm sure there are
i own two pieces, a pipe and a bubbler. the pipe is completely wood (handcarved in saint lucia) with a metal screen and the bubbler has a wooden bowl/metal down stem, wooden place for the water to go, glass stem to the mouth piece so you can see the smoke and a metal mouthpiece. i love woood
yea i picked up using wood pipes from my grandma. i still love glass but wood is a close second. especially big wood sherlocks
nothing except that someone named it official.. I could make a thread called "The OFFICIAL Smoke Ring Appreciation Thread!!!!" and that would be the official one. There aren't too many rules and regulations round here.
i love wooden pipes! i inherited my one of grand fathers, every time i smoke it it reminds me of him. pipe smoking is quite an art form, so many subtle nuances and flavours
Got respect for the timber pipes. Actually made a few cool ones, but I still think of natural material pipes as somewhat of a dead technology. Glass foreva!! I am coming around to the macgyver bamboo chillum though. alls ya need to make one is the right boo(size wise) and a good knife.
I made a raw looking wood pipe ill see if i can ppost pix tomorrow. Also have a decent pipe collection including a nice ben wade
Least favorite smoking device next to acrylic bongs. Though some people get really creative with the carvings and designs so that I appreciate.
Why is it one of your least favourite? I would have thought compared to a lot of things (homemades etc.) that wooden pipes are quite nice. They are to me, anyway
