  7. In other Philly news: former 1st round draft pick OT Lane Johnson facing a 10 game suspension for PED's.

  8. Seahawks taking this year

  9. fucking dareus cant stay off the grass. dude is so close to throwing his promising career out the window.

  10. Yo, you want to get in on our fantasy league?

  11. sure. is it free?

  12. $10. The champ will come away with around $100 at the end.

  13. i dont do pay leagues. im on a tight budget yo.

  14. Ahh. I feel ya man.

  15. Bills cut Karlos Williams.

I know he arrived to camp fat and his weight was trending upwards again (blamed it on eating with his pregnant girlfriend during her pregnancy cravings -- give me a fucking break, you're a professional athlete) and he is banned for the first four games of the year for substance abuse policy violations....but the Bills have nothing behind LeSean McCoy now. Shady was hurt several times last season, and now his backup is Reggie Bush, who is 31 coming off an ACL tear in the middle of a twenty-eight-yard season. Ran for 320 yards the past two years between Detroit and San Francisco but he's expected to be a useful back in a power-run system?

  16. 9 TD's in 11 games last season. Really surprised they did that considered Shady and Reggie are pretty injury prone these days. They must feel pretty confident though.

  17. lol, Josh Norman still throwing shade at WRs. Feels like he's going to get burned this year.

    Has to cover:

    Week 1 - Antonio Brown
    Weeks 2 and 12 - Dez Bryant
Weeks 3 and 17 - Odell Beckham Jr.
    Week 5 - Steve Smith
    Week 8 - AJ Green
Week 11 - Jordy Nelson (or Randall Cobb)
Week 13 - John Brown (or Michael Floyd, or Larry Fitzgerald)
    Week 15 - Kelvin Benjamin
    Week 16 - Alshon Jeffrey

Behind a much weaker defense than Carolina's. Should be interesting.

  19. Joey Bosa is a dumb Fuckeye

Chargers probably regret their choice already.

"Our contract discussions and offers to the representatives of Joey Bosa have been both fair and structurally consistent with the contracts of every other Chargers player," the team said in a statement.

Per the Chargers' release, the offer included.

» "An initial signing bonus payment that is larger than any player in the League has received in the last two drafts."

» "More money in this calendar year than every player in this year's draft except one (QB Carson Wentz)."

» "The largest payment and the highest percentage of signing bonus received in the first calendar year of any Chargers' first-round selection since the inception of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (2011)."

    Bosa's representatives rejected the contract.

"The offer that we extended was for Joey to contribute during all 16 games and beyond," the team said. "Joey's ability to contribute for an entire rookie season has now been jeopardized by the valuable time he has missed with his coaches and his teammates. Since Joey will not report at this time, his ability to produce not just early in the season, but throughout the entire season, has been negatively impacted.

"As a result, we will restructure our offer since Joey will be unable to contribute for the full 16 game season without the adequate time on the practice field, in the classroom, and in preseason games."

  20. Chargers are the one being stupid, not Bosa. They pushed the offer up from 50% guaranteed to 60%, and when Bosa wouldn't sign a deal that no top-5 pick has signed since the new rookie contract scale came into play, they not only put him on blast, but are now saying they're going to reduce the offer even more. The dude was a top-5 pick -- only Todd Gurley didn't get fully guaranteed money as a top-5 pick in the last two drafts, and that was because dude was coming off of a knee injury.

You don't take a guy that high in the draft if you don't feel that he can contribute positively to your team -- to ask for both a reduced amount of guaranteed money and offset language in the contract is the team essentially saying "yeah, we used a top-ten pick on you, but we're really not that confident that you can be good." The team did the same shit to Philip Rivers in 2004 after Eli forced the trade to NYG, and the man is arguably the best Chargers QB in history (him or Dan Fouts).

Chargers are trying to save face here. They've lowballed Bosa and then ignored his camp, then marginally increased the offer and put out PR to make it seem like they suddenly did a 180 and were changing their approach.

San Diego will continue to be the biggest loser here whether or not Bosa signs and whether or not Bosa turns out to be a good NFL player -- they're poisoning the water in regards to future prospects wanting to play for the team, for one. Plenty of quality future first-round picks are going to look at this situation and ask themselves why the fuck they would want to play for such an organization. Secondly, Chargers lose more than Bosa if he doesn't sign with them -- he'll re-enter the draft next year, and he won't go as high, but there's a near certainty that a team won't dick him around as much as San Diego has.

SD's owner is a cheapskate scam artist trying to force his way into the LA market with Kroenke and the Rams, and AJ Smith is a haughty cunt who makes exceedingly poor personnel decisions -- let Michael Turner walk, let Drew Brees walk, let Vincent Jackson walk, let Darren Sproles walk, all for nothing in return. Fired a coach coming off a 14-2 season. Squandered the career of one of the best RBs in NFL history.

TLDR: San Diego's front office is run by morons. They make Cleveland's front office look competent in comparison.
