I loved that speech. For my own part, I believe public education ruined my being. I was an artist and writer as a child. I was encouraged to do other things. I would've been better left to my own devices, as I had very high aptitude for my endeavors. I felt comfortable doing my own thing. No one else felt this way about me. Damn. Now, I am one of those people who lives inside my head.
