Off-Roading Crash

  1. Went off-roading in my friends 4-Runner today. Right as we were about to stop to burn a joint, We were admiring all of the leaves changing on the trees and it was very beautiful! But a couple corners later we came around a corner a little too fast and rolled the thing! I was in the back without a seatbelt on and when we rolled i got slammed threw the window and we landed upside down. My friend Harley (who was driving) franticly asked if everyone ok. When we all replied with yes he said it was leaking gas and everyone needed to get out fast. I started crawling out the back window and noticed that the side of my face was wet and thought it was gasoline so i freaked out crawled out fast. As everyone got out and it started setting in what had happened all 3 of my friends that were with me just started staring at me and started panicing and telling me to sit down. So as i was wondering what they were talking about i reached up to feel my face where i thought was covered with something from the truck and pulled my hand back and it was covered with blood. Anyway everyone freaked out 2 of my friends ran off to get cell phone service. I belted a shirt up to my head and me and my other friend just hung out and waited till we had a ride out. It was pretty scary and i can post pictures of the truck tomorrow if anyone is interested haha

Now im just toking up to relive the pain from my head :smoke::smoke:

  2. I would like to see a picture of your wound as well!

    Glad everyone was OK.

    Stitches necessary?

  3. That's pretty epic!
Sounds like it started out hella fun though.

    Hope you're ok bro.

    BTW...Pics!!

  4. That's why you don't go muddin' in a Toyoter

  5. Damn glad your ok, it always puts a pit in my stomach when I get up from a wreck and everyone is just staring at you like your an alien. Post pics man

  6. That's crazy, but similar stuff has happened to me before. Your body was in shock when it first happened, which is why you didn't feel any pain/think you were hurt.

Had a similar experience when I was in a car wreck once. I got out and was pretty anxious, asking if everyone was OK, since I figured I was ok because I didn't feel any pain. Little did I know I had a couple gashes in my head and leg. Serious stuff.

It's pretty scary when you can't feel any pain yet you're bleeding a ton. But glad you came out of it ok, man.

  7. glad your ok man, i love going going off roading i had a blazer i used to go all the time

  8. Damn man, I thought you were going to say your face was covered with gas....

    Glad your okay nonetheless

  9. always wear a seat belt. unless you have a death wish

  10. At least your friends didn't panic, that woulda made it worse.

  11. It was so eye opening for me! Like i really had never felt that before and i went into complete shock and a shitload of adrenaline started pumping threw my viens!

    I have a Blazer and i love it!! :D

They kinda did start to panic which really freaked me out because i had never seen that much blood on myself. But then once we wrapped a shirt up and tied it around my head with a belt and it started to slow down the bleed everyone kinda chilled out.

VERY Crazy experience of what the human body is capable of. I thought i had lost a good amount of blood by the time that we got it all bandaged up but i honestly wasn't feeling dizzy or light headed or anything! Its just crazy what are bodys can go threw and that first instant to survive. I can now see why you hear those storys about moms being able to lift a vehicle off of there kid and stuff like.

  12. Ok time for some pictures! I just want to say that it was a pretty eye opening experience at the power that vehicles have and how big of a risk we take driving them around on a daily basis. Honestly the crash felt like it happened in a split second and i realize how much worse it could have been. Everyone is OK and after i got home from the ER we finished up the night with a nice fat joint to put us all to sleep :smoke:

This is after the wreck when my friends were running down to call for help.

This is when i first got to the hospital. It about 2 inches and they had to do 2 layers of stitches because it was so deep!

This is after i was numbed up and they trimmed the hair around the cut.

Right after they finished putting them in.

And the finished product a total of 10 stitches! :p

And this is what it looked like right before we rolled, it was an amazing and beautiful day!

Anyway im glad everybody made it away without to much injury and it could have been a lot worse. Im going to check out the truck tomorrow and i will snap a few pic and throw them up tomorrow evening. Take it easy blades :smoke::smoke:
