so i bought this bag from home depot since i heard others have had success with them. i have 1 rpetty big fan in my grow box but only one plant. problem is, these rocks aint doin anything. i put the rocks in the sun like it says on package and it helped a bit, but not satisfactory enough. do i really need to get a carbon filter? can i just wash the rocks and put back in sun again? the rocks sit right on top of fan still in the mesh bag.
You could try some ONA or Vaportek. Never heard of those rocks, but looking at them it doesn't surprise me they aren't helping. If ONA or Vaportek won't cut it, you could try an ozone generator. Otherwise the only option left is a carbon filter, which is probably the most surefire way to handle odor.
thats fucking lame.. i ordered 4 packs of those gonzo rocks online after reading positive results from other GC members.. You using the 320oz bag?
yea its a 32 oz bag just sittin on my exhaust fan. blows in to room before out the iwndow but rooms stinks and those rocks aint helpin. just put in sun again for bout 6 hours, hopefully will work. i'll let you know. thanks
ohh crap.. Zeolite dust may cause cancer - Gonzo Kitchen Odor Eliminator OEK212 - Epinions.com contains zeolite.. which in turn.. causes cancer. wow great? the ass hats who recommended this stuff deserve to be banned.
