Odd tent size options...help needed

  1. Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've been on here but was getting frustrated so I wanted to see if any of you experts out there can help. My issue is this. I currently have a space that's exactly 7' wide between the walls. I currently have 3 tents in this space which includes the following...
A 4x4 tent with a 3x3 next to it. It's a snug fit. I then have a 3'x20" tent in front of the other 3' tent which is on wheels. All 3 tents are vivosun.

The issue I have is that the largest tent needs replaced (asap) and I'm trying to maximize this space. Ideally one 5' deep x 7' wide tent would maximize every inch but I simply can't find one. I've done a lot of searching with no luck. The best option I've come up with is a 5x5 with a 2x5 on wheels next to it but unfortunately I don't think the new light I have in the 3x3 currently will fit due to width of the spiderfarm. It's sq. Does anyone know where I can get a 5x7 tent which would be ideal or maybe a 3x5 and 4x5.

  2. finding tents that size in not gonna happen--sorry. The light can be angled to fit but you will have to reverse the angle every couple days for even growth--my 2 centavos.

  3. An alternative to tents is to plan and build your own box or boxes. Like back in the day when tents weren't on the market yet.

If planned out right you can maximize your space as you see fit. Not what configuration the tents give ya. Tents are awesome but like your issue. Sometimes your space won't match up to what you want to accomplish.

There are tons of diy grow room setup posting throughout most grow sites. Some use wood. Some use that solid wall insulation 4x8 sheets and duct tape. You'll see many options as ya search.

  4. idk your location . But here in the states dry wall is cheap just 6 or so bucks per sheet .
Some two by 4 and build your own room . Or make that area into one big room.

  5. good idea but your costs are from circa 1997. Now a sheet of drywall will cost $17-$20. A 2x4 is now er....ah....dont ask. LOL

  7. Thanks for the help everyone. I ended up just ordering another 4x4 for now. I do think I'll wall it off in the next few months but I do have a few things to think through prior to that but it probably is the best bet

  9. Yeah building costs these days are pretty high. If I had the space I'd definitely build my own. Costs a little but ya can customize as you see fit. Flower chambers, veg space, ect.
