I've tried marijuana a couple of times, but never really liked. It makes me very paranoid, to the point in which suicide feels like the only way out (Prviously Diagnosed with Prodromal Schizophrenia). It's been a couple of years since I've smoked, but I notice that when I'm riding my bike around I can smell it, usually when people are parked at the stop light. I'm afraid that it's getting me high. Is it possible for that little amount of marijuana to get someone high? Also, how much marijuana would need to be used in order for the brain to turn into a useless piece of tissue (Slow Down)?. I know several people who used to be very intelligent, but now they act as though they are floating around in space, unconcerned about the external world, and oblivous to their shortcomings. I have no problem with marijuana smokers, so don't try and argue with me, cause I won't respond. I'd just like an honest and intelligent answer. Thanks, Mike
you wont get stoned by just gettin a wiff of it from people passing by ,i have friends who dont smoke weed but sit in the same room or car all night whilst we are smoking and they never get high .
Some belive that only 1 puff can give you Schizophrenia if you already have the gene for it. Like marijuana triggers it or something. I'm not a doctor so i can't say if this is real or not. I don't believe that you can have a huge effect by just catching a wiff of someone elses. BUT, if exposed to the smoke and you breath it in enough, of course you will feel a bit high. Marijuana does effect your brain, (of course, or you wouldn't get high) a few joints now and again isn't a problem, but a constant use morning and evening will have effects on thinking, memory...etc It usually takes more than a year of contant use to get to that point.
And yes I think people do get passively stoned by being in the same room or in a car, despite what UKCHRONICGROWER says, but not as you say just whiffing it as you walk by. (Girlfriend doesn't smoke, but does get passively a little high sometimes...it's no big deal though)
yeah it gets me higher I can't prove it, but one time we were sitting in closed room because it was an apt. passing a fat blunt. I couldn't take no more hits I had to leave that room the guys in there were like this guys gettin higher just being here lol.
