I just got some FF ocean forest soil and noticed on the bag that perlite is already in the mix. Do i need to add more to it, or is what they provide you with good enough to get the job done??
Yeah I have read a lot of people say to add about 1/4 of perlite to the Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I bought a bag of perlite but didn't realize Miracle Gro is not recommended so I'm going to have to go back and buy another bag of some other perlite to mix in with my Fox Farms. DOH
You might consider a half and half mix of Ocean Forest and Light Warrior. You get extra perlite and it softens the Ocean Forest from potentially nute burning seedlings. This mix is working well for me so far. Good luck with your grow...
