  2. Those English-speaking girl reporters on the RT (Russia Times) video (above) said Trade Unions were marching in this rally - this is a lie as there were no unions involved in this demonstration.

Stock trading is the main business of Wall Street, not banking and mortgages.

  3. In the Rage against the Machine video they claim they shut down Wall Street for a day. Why aren't some of these big time celebs or stars coming out and doing their part? Freedom can't motivate Americans, but a free rock concert would bring millions in there... All these bands talking about revolution and standing up for freedom, ect......but where are they now when those same people who bought their albums and made them rich need their support?? ....maybe fans will see through the hypocrisy over time? .......hope so

  4. The reason is because the people at this demonstration are totally ignorant of how to get things done. They could have had Michael Moore, the Unions, celebrities from Hollywood and the music industry, etc., but they don't know what they're doing. They didn't get permits to march or demonstrate, which was really stupid. The authorities have been pretty patient with them, so far. The media is not covering it, for the most part, and that's also their fault because they don't understand how to use it to their advantage.

They are lucky that the weather has been friendly - a bad rainstorm would have caused most of those who were sleeping in that park, which is closer to Ground Zero than Wall Street, to go home.

The media isn't covering it, because nobody really gives a shit. You guys are camping out like homeless, and life goes on. Seriously lol, you haven't accomplished anything.

  6. It is a failure. They have no leadership. One of them just said, "Everyone is a spokesperson".

You can't blame people for saying that it's a big bore.

They've got liveleak, and less then 4,000 people in the whole world are viewing it at any given time, which says a lot about their appeal.

    340,000,000 > 4,000

  8. and the arrests begin....

Occupy Wall Street Protest: Five Arrested on Day Three - International Business Times

"Five arrests were made on the third day of "Occupy Wall Street" protests in New York...New York City police confirmed that four men and one woman have been taken into custody Monday for disorderly conduct charges related to the Occupy Wall Street protest, which began Saturday. The New York Times reports the arrests were made under provisions which make it illegal for more than two or more individuals to wear masks, while another woman was arrested for writing on the sidewalk in chalk."

  9. They were arrested for...masks and chalk...

    dear lord

  10. It's raining and the protestors said that the cops made them take down their tents and also seized the gasoline that they were using for their generators which were used to recharge computer batteries for their live online feed. They also were told to remove all the signs and posters that they had mounted. They said that two members of their media team were arrested this morning before 9 AM.

It would have been much easier for everybody involved if they'd simply gotten permits in advance.

  12. They have been living for free in Zuccotti Park, for the past 4 days. This is enough, it's time to leave and return this park to the public. If they want to stay in New York City, they'll have to find other quarters such as a hotel or staying at local supporters' places.

It was a failure, why try? Nobody really gives a damn lol

  14. That park they have been staying at is a public park, which is privately owned. It was badly damaged on 9/11, and the restoration was done by Mr. Zuccotti, the head of Brookfield Properties, who own it. These protestors are not aware of this, nor do they care. They are communists, and are opposed to private property.

  15. Should the egyptians not of camped out in tahir square because it wasnt there property?

It was destined to fail because they do not know how to organize a demonstration correctly. There's nobody to blame but the protestors themselves. They had every opportunity to apply for permits and plan this thing, but they fucked up.

  19. It hasn't failed, its still going on. Watch the cam dude. Stop spreading lies.
