  1. To read the news articel on FoxNews.com click here.

Or, in other words, we're going to have an international police, A.K.A. Interpol.

I'm not liking all this. Why would he go and sign it and not make it well known? I mean, its got to be something terrible, or else he would of said something. It would be getting rid of our constitution, and the laws that we already know, and he couldn't at least take a vote or SOMETHING? I'm pretty pissed. I feel betrayed..

    What do you guys think?

  2. I'd do without the pink and centered text.

  3. Well, I still have my right to free speech at the moment, which I do believe includes my pinks, bolded, centered text. Maybe when Interpol starts writing laws, they'll keep my font choice in mind. :)

  4. I think the reason is communism nowadays. No? Drugs? No? Oh right terror.

  5. If you're reading it on foxnews.com it has to be at least somewhat well-known.

Yea, the executive branch has way too much power these days. It's supposed to be up to the other branches to check the executive, but they haven't really been doing their job as of late.

  6. you mean early 1900's, right?

  7. The system of checks and balances was never a perfect system, but it was used in the past to help the common man get some of his rights back after they were stripped away in war time. The courts check the legislative branch through the process of judicial review. The legislative branch checks the executive since they control funding for things that he wants to do.

The problem is that all these branches work together and thus want to stay friends (read: cronyism). This means that they don't want to upset the other branch by "checking and balancing" them. Corruption in government has been a problem for as long as governments have been around, but in my last post I wanted to talk specifically about the more recent problems.

  8. I have a feeling this immunity for Interpol could have something to do with the recently passed "Council of Governors" executive order. This order grants 10 nonelected "Governors" the power to control the National Guard while being managed through the DoD, Homeland Security, Fema, etc. Most Likely these 10 unelected Governors of ours will control the Fema Regional zones.
