Obama the socialist at it again!

  1. If you feel a person is being "ignorant" of an issue, then you should inform them, not scold them.

Calmly lay out the premises of your argument and work from there. Confronting them in such an insulting way will just cause them to become entrenched in whatever position they're in.

It's largely counter-productive. And is also likely to get you banned.

  2. Yeah your right... But are you hearing some of the stuff these idiots are saying? Who the hell is he to judge me and my family? and the guy above him saying that "we had our chance" and that my family is lazy and should have went to college. That right there is blatant ignorance and I dont take it lightly.

I guess the old saying is right though:
If you argue with an idiot theyll only bring you down to their level then beat you with experience. :p

  3. So true, because even if you make all the right points it doesn't do any good if they don't understand them.

  4. Is your being disrespectful back solving anything? No, as sam spade said, "If you feel a person is being "ignorant" of an issue, then you should inform them, not scold them."

You're just as guilty as ecoterror. Disrespect is never justified.

  5. dfoolz, I hope you'll get banned.

  6. :(

Could it be because I dont like GTA4 :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Alrite guys.. I got it lol I shouldnt of told him to shove his 250k up his ass... I honestly do think if he could that he should shove it up his ass though... Maybe it would help bring him back to reality :p:p Jk... Ill be a little more conservative(mabe he'll like me more this way lool) with how I word things....

But were getting a little off-topic so lets ignore mine(and others) disrespectfulness :p

  7. that was a very assumptive rant.
i never said you guys failed, i'm sure your parents are doing things they love, they just aren't making the kind of money they want as a result, they could have easily looked up the average salary befor they went to school for such low paying degrees, if you're out of college for over 15 years and make less than 45,000 a year you're not in your work for the money, clearly.

i'm going to the university of minnesota currently and am in the chemical engineering program, my cousin went through the same program and is currently making 62,000 dollars a year, straight out of college.
so now that we can skip the "my parents couldn't afford an education" excuse, your parents just didn't choose a difficult enough, useful enough degree. and now they are paying for it, poor judgement.
so i guess we're about neck and neck, except i am going to get myself a useful degree, so i think i may actually be a step ahead of you. enlighten me on your major, let me guess, marketing? communications? i hear theres money in computer technology, haha

    i

oh yeah, my parents drive an avalanch with 140,000 miles on it, and i drive a 94 ford van that's beat to shit, but i got the crotch rocket for the summer that i worked for and paid off 100% by myself, wanna make some more false assumptions big fat dick man?
    i

  8. i like you you concur on a completely factless rant, that is completely untrue, i clearly can't respect any of your unreliable statement

  9. I would love to see you punched in the face. The usefulness of a career? Shut the fuck up. Like I said before, somebody has to do the jobs you don't want to cunt rag. Believe it or not without the people doing "crappy" jobs you wouldn't be able to do your "awesome" job you fucking shit brain.

that was poor wording on my part, i meant financially useful, alright, i know some people love their jobs and don't make as much as others, my point is, if you do these jobs sometimes you have to sacrifice income, that's just how it goes. so if you choose the lesser paying job, don't complain about it to the rest of us, and i could very well argue the usefulness of jobs, you need engineers, more than communications majors, i get more USE out of engineers, hence they are more USEful. and yes i could even argue they have been more useful to me than hotel cleaners and waiters, and cops, and congressmen. so yes, my job is more useful than yours, get over it.
and i have done those "shit jobs" (i like how you harass me for dictating the use of jobs, then you just categorize all those jobs as shit jobs) and after doing those shit jobs, i utilized the resources that were available to me and all of a sudden that makes me a undeserving spoiled brat, i think that makes me smart. and i will laugh at all you idiots who didn't use those resources to your advantage and instead chose to struggle financially for your entire life, have fun bitching about me your whole life, i wont be bitching about it, because i added 2 and 2 together and saw what i needed to do, i really wish you could do the same.

More useful to only you. Pretty self-centered if you ask me.

either way in the end this thread is about the economy, Obama, and the country. If people don't like the way its being run then they can leave and go cry about some other countries problems.

  13. you're right, you've never benefited from a car, computer, insulation, clothing, beds, ipods, televisions, radios, tape, glue, carpet, paper, airplanes, and pretty much everything else you use that was brought to you by an engineer, suprise suprise. and i'll bet you havn't benefited from your local motel 6 being clean and functional. so, i don't know if you use any of those things i listed, but if you have, and havn't been to a motel 6, the engineers have been far more helpful, i think this is true even if you've stayed at that motel.

why can't you just open your mind and see although every job is important, some jobs are more important for our society, it doesn't mean the person doing the worse job is less important, it's just their job.

  14. I tried to close the argument and you just keep going.

I realize you think some jobs are more important than others but they really aren't. The importance of anything is a matter of opinion you can't put a definition on what is important for anybody other than yourself.

    The End.

Dude no offense but thats just a stupid thing to say. You want the country we live in to fail? So the russians or chinese or those damn canuks can invade and impose there communist gov on us? Good idea why don't you learn to think

  16. but three rights make a left :hello:

  17. I hope your joking.

If you are, I hope it's not your occupation. You're not very funny.

  18. OP, I hope your dumb-ass voted for McCain! You probably did, since you show no signs of any logic.

  19. Please re-read the thread and my 2 other posts.

The original post was satire, I thought I put it on pretty thick, but apparently not.

I addressed who I voted for in my post on the 2nd page.

No offense here, because I am not a McCain fan, but how does voting for McCain = not being a logical person? This seems to be a pretty ridiculous leap of faith in rhetoric.

I know plenty of intelligent people that had their selfish and unselfish reasons for voting for McCain...so, automatically they should be discredited solely on their voting tendencies? That's pretty ridiculous IMO.

  20. i agree completely. the only alternative that was presented was a lackluster, and trite solution that was attempted twice by the bush admin. bush took us from the first budget surplus in 200 years to the biggest deficit our nation has seen. medicare/medicaid, SOCIAL security, etc, are all socialist type programs that have only benefitted our nation. the solution that the opposition has presented is this: cut taxes for the rich, raise them for the poor and increase the defense budget. tell me, logically (which most obviously dont possess), how the fuck would that work out? the upper class earn the most money, so by increasing their tax by 1% would have the most effect on closing the budget gap; rather than giving these pricks a cut on their 30 million dollar incomes, and punishing and taxing the poor more heavily, which ultimately kills upward mobility and liquidity, as well as prevents them from pumping OTHER funds into the economy. taxes dont fucking solve everything. i think the solution to our problem is to abondon reaganomics and adapt. we have done it before, hence FDR, why cant we do it again? the greed of a few cannot hamper our growth, changing this will be a huge problem. i think we need to wait for the current generation of government officials to fucking die off so that our LOGICAL policies can actually be passed without bipartisanship and strife.
