Obama Tells Fed's they can't preempt state law

  2. Hmm...interesting. BUT just because this memo exists, doesn't mean the harassment will stop. We'll have to wait and see if the DEA decides that they are above the administration or not.
     
  3. He's got the right idea, but I don't think that will stop the DEA.
     
  4. true. that is the problem with the current state of things in our government. the gray area that exists between federal law and state law is so wide that no one knows what to believe/ uphold as the law. Hopefully, this all pans out for the positive. Obama is the change we needed I think though.
     
  5. so obama pretty much said that the state has their rights and federal law enforcement cannot screw with them. that sounds like obama is telling us something. he wants the states to do it on their own. and yes that sounds like a very good thing in my opinion
     
  6. This nice thing is that if the DEA DOESN'T follow his directives, he can FIRE THEM ALL!
