Obama Must Explain His Broken Promise on Medical Marijuana, and Soon

Discussion in 'Marijuana News' started by oltex, Oct 20, 2011.

  1. Your vote DOES really count. Maybe not so much when it comes to the president, but it counts big time in local issues. I'm gonna be pissed if some statewide legalization efforts fail in 2012 cause of all the whiners who sit at home typing about how 'voting is pointless'. We don't need the president to get stuff done.(it certainly would help though).

If you support marijuana legalization and aren't libertarian and voting for a libertarian candidate... well then you've got some research to do.

Those who somehow still think Obama is pro-pot are in denial and not seeing reality for what it is.

  3. Lol, so now your a servant of the state you live in. Enjoy. The state was built to serve the people and not the other way around. We don't need the government to survive. The idea that we do is soley planted in the peoples minds by the government and the media. You are a human being, born to adapt and survive, and think. Use all those traits my friend. For when the government decideds it has to many faces to stuff, you'll be one of the first it comes after.

  4. Ummm NO. But I am not sure what you mean 'rely on for my life'
Do you mean relying on them for my survival? No I don't want to.
Or do mean 'rely on them for my entire life?' The answer is no.
    I hate the feeling.

I work from home and freelance. I do what I have to do to get by and try to contribute to the world.

  5. More like if its NOT that important to you, pack your shit and head to a communist or socialist country. How do you know if I havent. I have actually been to the occupy movement here and tried to wake up the retards there to the real tyranny in this country. But they are brainwashed by the system, and the mainstream media to thinking the problem lies with taxing the rich and expecting free education, or more handouts of some sort.
    Nice try Jamaya

  6. Precicely why we need to occupy these locations, if nothing else bring your pocket Constitutions and Bill of Rights and try to wake these officers enforcing laws that that are unjust

Stallin said it best, "Its not the people that vote that matter, its the people who COUNT the votes"

Heres a fella thats obviously been compromised by our mainstream media, WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE IF WE DONT HAVE OUR GOVERNMENT TO SAVE US, OH MY GOD, PLEASE HELP US UNCLE SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im the kind of guy that if you got in my face, and said some shit like that, you'd take a dirt nap for sure.
    EPIC FAILURE

  7. For anyone who wants to occupy the real problem, go to oath keepers website and get a shitload of cards and leaflets t hand out to those unconstitutional officers. If you wake 1 up they might wake more up.
gardens 082.jpg With me wherever I go, along with the Constitution and Bill of Rights!:D

  8. ""Precicely why we need to occupy these locations, if nothing else bring your pocket Constitutions and Bill of Rights and try to wake these officers enforcing laws that that are unjust""

I am sorry..but going to jail is all you will accomplish.
And why are you here? Why aren't you doing what you preach?

  9. Have you been reading? seems to me there are plenty of people starting the wake up process. Even here, people are standing up for what they believe. It doesnt have to be a "Camp on public property thing, with all your picket signs" its and EVERYDAY thing, its an EVERYWHERE thing, and thats what it has to be, it was stated here before. the answer to 1984 is 1776! you think the occupy move is big, wait til the 2nd American revolution gets here:D
sorry bud, slow up on the sodium flouride, aspertame, and genetically modified foods and begin the wake up process, once you do you'll understand much better wy it is so important for American citizens to understand what is happening to us by the hands of government:mad:

  10. And justfor the record, I do NOT dislike oror hope to offend ANYONE here at GC:gc_rocks: I only hope to spread the message that we ALL need to research the happenings here. The last page has a AWESOME list of starting points and topics that are ALL MUST reads. props roost. please read into what we all speak of deeper.
dont forget peeps, ITS IN THE SIG..........LOVE:D

Some "REALLY" good discussion here! I do believe that people need to do research and form their own opinion based on "their" research. But if you think that "YOUR" voice and vote makes no difference, you are sadly mistaken. I signed the White House petitions related to decriminalizing marijuana. Did I expect Obama to keep his word? HELL NO ! But I did expect his response to reveal his true colors. And that it did. His response referenced resources that are anti legalization of marijuana. Not one resourse cited had ANY positivie comment about the positive medical effects that are being reported every day. When the people get tired of being lied to and see through the coruption they will stand up and let their voices be heard! It has happened in at least two significant instance it the history of this country. And don't forget the people's revolt eighty years ago. Have you ever watched a stream form when it rains? It starts small and cuts a path as it grows until it is soon a raging river. When enough people get tired of the crap perpetrated by those in power the voices and votes will swell up and sweep them out of power. And the way the voices and votes swell to this level is by you and I talking to people and getting them to think and do their own research and joining our ranks. This is the formation of the revolution to change society. Don't sit on you ass and cry "poor me I don't make a difference". Stand up and let your voice and vote be heard and counted! Now! Somebody help me off my soapbox so I can move to the next corner.

  13. I got that response from Obama. Not one independent study. Every one cited was sponsored by the people who want it kept illegal. At this point "your" vote and opinion mean nothing to the people in charge. Was Bush voted in his second term by popular vote?(or even his first) NO. Most of Americans wants the drug war to end. What is Washington's stand on drug policy? I agree we can make a change as one cohesive unit but they've(Govt.) done their homework since the last stand 80 years ago. Heavy brainwashing campaigns mixed with chemical cocktails in our food, water and air has molded the general public into the misguided, overtrusting, unthinking for themselves unit these people need to stay in power. (read the second flouride link I've provided earlier) You seem smart. What will happen when a threatening amount of people start standing up to them? They fully enact the Patriot Act, declare a national emergency, shut down all food services, Enact martial law and FEMA and most of the population voluntarily jumps on a FEMA train to a concentration camp. Leaving us. Most of the people left will either starve to death or kill each other off over scraps. What is left will be taken care of by foreign armies. This view might seem grim but I consider myself a realist. I'm not going down without a fight and I'll educate as many as I can on the way down. In the words of the Three Musketeers: All for One and One for All!

Obama isn't going to change his mind, people! He's actually made the drug war much worse! So what if he toked a bit when he was younger? So did Bush. People need to get it out of their heads already.

Spread the word about Ron Paul! He will end the drug war, and allow the states to decide the law without fear. (I bet California would be the first to legalize.)

He's the best chance we have towards the road to legalization, plus he's the best on all the other issues we're facing, too! He recognizes and sympathizes with medical marijuana patients, and said he's seen cancer patients which he feels would benefit a lot from it. And he doesn't only talk about marijuana for medical purposes, either. He's always been strongly consistent with his views for decades, plus he's one of the top candidates now and his support is growing.

Forget Obama! Time for some real change!

  19. I will vote for him if he EVER makes a national ballot but lets be real. Would you let a known child molester babysit your children? Do you really think the true powers that be(the banks) would let a known assassin control their house? Last election debates Ron cleaned the floor with the other candidates yet received less than 2% of the national airtime. He is not OK'd by the establishment to "run" the establishment. Their agendas are completely different.

We need a joint session of congress to solve this problem.

    I agree under three circumstances:
    1) The congressmen who put us in this position are fired first.
    2) All politicians sign a pledge to uphold the constitution and give up all party ties while in office under penalty of treason for breaking this pledge
    3) An amendment to the constitution is added as follows:
Congress shall pass no law that pertains to Congress and not the people, Congress shall pass no law that pertains to the people and not Congress.

  20. Do people know that we can write Ron Paul in on the ballot? Who cares if he's printed on it.
