I've recently heard that under a new law passed, full time college students can receive health insurance until they are 26? Or something like this? Can someone here please explain to me this? How do I obtain this? Will they drug test? Thanks in advance.
Full time students can be under their parents health insurance until 26, it was a few years younger previously.
this is correct.....^^^^^^^ the old insurance ways dropped you from your parents plan once you hit 18..or was a full time student,,,, the new plan will allow a parent to keep thier kid on '' thier'' plan till the kid hit's 26...
Don't worry. They won't drug test you. haha I'm still under my parent's insurance and I'm pretty open about my cannabis use with my doctor.
no... i support legalizing all drugs. i don't think overeaters, smokers (like myself) and drug users etc should get our health care paid for by healthy people, who take care of themselves better. just my opinion is all..
Yeah, I feel bad for all the healthy people who are having to pay for all the obese people, smokers and heavy drug users. And I qualify as 2/3.
yeah me too LOL which is why i'd rather just pay for my own insurance and not burden anyone. why should a single dude pay for someone who wants to have 6 kids? the list goes on......
You realize that you'd be hard-pressed to find a non-drug-using American, right? Or are you only talking about the "bad" drugs? I'm not trying to hate on your opinion, I just don't see how a drug test is going to help achieve your goal. My parents pay for my health care and I pay them what I'm able to. Should I be thrown off their plan because I choose to inhale cannabis?
i donno dude.. just stating an opinion. They won't listen to me anyway.. so don't worry i understand your point.. believe me.. i can go on and on about my thoughts on pharmaceutical drugs. I understand that most of them do nothing but make money for certain folks.. anyway.. carry on
Im kinda weird in that way, I will do anything to not burden anyone. And I thikn it's stupid that people will have to pay for others abortions etc.
Heh, I'm not worried about me losing my health care, but I do worry about other people losing their health care (or not being able to afford it) because they choose to inhale cannabis illegally. Even if I was thrown off my parent's health care plan, I would still be able to afford some of the best health care in the world. My point was though that you can't measure someone's health by some drug test, especially when the only drug (I'm aware of) that stays in your system longer than a week (after stopping a habit of regular use) is cannabis.
What does this have to do with being able to use your parents' health care until your 26? It seems like your argument only applies for universal health care or am I judt missing something?
