The Pepsi Company, which is set to release the new product Pepsi Next in the coming weeks, is facing a more robust boycott as pro-life activists protest the company use of cells derived from an aborted fetus in flavor-enhancing research. But Pepsi has succeeded, with help from the Obama Administration, in keeping its controversial operations from consideration by its shareholders. In a decision delivered Feb 28th, President Obama's Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) ruled that PepsiCo's use of cells derived from aborted fetal remains in their research and development agreement with Senomyx to produce flavor enhancers falls under “ordinary business operations.â€The letter signed by Attorney Brian Pitko of the SEC Office of Chief Counsel was sent in response to a 36-page document submitted by PepsiCo attorneys in January, 2012. In that filing, PepsiCo pleaded with the SEC to reject the Shareholder's Resolution filed in October 2011 that the company “adopt a corporate policy that recognizes human rights and employs ethical standards which do not involve using the remains of aborted human beings in both private and collaborative research and development agreements.â€http://www.lifesitenews.com/mobile/news/obama-agency-rules-pepsi-use-of-aborted-fetus-is-ordinary-business Pepsi has succeeded, with help from the Obama Administration, in keeping its controversial operations from consideration by its shareholders.
Other than that being sorta gross, I don't see any difference in it than using cells from any other tissue culture.
Got better proof? I don't trust websites like the one you posted. >The service was originally started by Campaign Life Coalition (CLC), a Canadian national pro-life organization headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Campaign Life Coalition, founded in 1978, was one of the first pro-life organizations to emphasize the international dimension of attacks on life and family. Biased websites like this do no good when someone uses them as proof.
Yum. Sounds fucking delicious. Give me a can now! I can't wait to slurp that shit down and crack open another.
talk about reaching. pro-lifers are the scum of the earth and nobody with an iq over 10 sees anything wrong with using stem cells.
They don't add it to the soda, they use it to test on with flavors. To see how they react or might taste somehow ...I don't know the details Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum mobile app
anyone who calls someone with a different opinion then theirs the scum of the earth is....well you know....not a very mature person.
trying to keep women from accessing medical procedures isn't an opinion. wanting women to give birth against their will isn't a belief. "pro-life" individuals are actively trying to force gestation and maternity on women. reproductive slavery.
Man you're a mixed bag of hypocrisy. If you want your right to have your beliefs you have to leave room to accept other's. If you want freedom so must others. That's how it works. Now making legislation on a pro life basis yes that is extremely wrong as like you said it should be a woman's choice (that's the freedom i was referring to). Also pro lifers can adopt out. There's tons of people who can't conceive or homosexual couples looking for a child to love.
Are there any fetus home recipes? Is the fetus best when seasoned? Should I bake, broil, boil, sauté, or fry the fetus? Is there any further reading for fetus cuisine? Please gc cook my fetus
