Little update on the NYC Diesel Auto. The trics have started forming pretty well. Bud structures seem to be tight. I definitely see getting a few thick colas off her. I'm going to take a guess and say I have around 4 weeks left of flower. This is organic soil. Havent gave them anything and the soil cooked for approximately 2 months before being used maybe slightly longer. I am seeing tip burning which leads me to believe the soil is a little high on the nitrogen from when it was first mixed. Have only been using water and light top dressings of EWC, kelp, or bone meal. There is some evidence of heat stress I believe from taking it outdoors for a little too long.
She's getting closer. Trichs are still clear, lower seed bracs have started to swell. Upper fan leaves were showing strong yellowing as well. This picture was taken after the heavy yellowed fan leaves were removed. Sent from my SM-N960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Is rapid discoloration normal for a NYC diesel during mid to late flower? The picture I am uploading is roughly 4 hours after the last one I uploaded. I just watered her this morning. Sent from my SM-N960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Since this is all organic would introducing nitrogen through maybe top dress EWC be a bad thing? It's definitely nitrogen but I know you want plants to use up all the nutrients in the soil with bottled nutrients. Does that idea apply to organics? The only thing I have applied through out this was a top dress of kelp and HF bone meal which is high in P. Sent from my SM-N960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
