    How long into the vegetation stage before I can add nutes. And what nutrients brand is best

    Yes 2 weeks in. organic potting soil

    I had good success with Roots Organics nutes (Grow and Bloom) back when I used fertilizer.

    What brand? Your not using Miracle Grow are you? What does the bag say how long does it feed your plants for?

    Using vigoro organic potting soil

    It has time released nutes in it. Can you get your soil locally from the Hydro store or nursery? You might want to repot to a better soil IMO. No soil feeds plants for 9 months if you look at the bag you'll see it will say time released nutrients.
