Hey guys I’m going through a nutrient problem and looking for advice. I’ve noticed these little brown dots on older fan leaves and the oldest fan leaves ended up dying already. I recently (within the last week) started feeding them with advanced nutrients jungle juice bloom and some microbes for the roots. I didn’t add nutrients before this because the soil is amended with dry nutrients. Water gets PHed to around 6.5 and the medium is organic soil. Leaf tips on most leaves are also brownish yellow. The soil was pretty low on potassium so that’s why I started feeding with liquid nutrients. Here’s a picture of the oldest fan leaves the white stuff is diatomaceous earth that got mixed with water and solidified on the leaf btw. Ive flushed them about a week ago, transplanted them into bigger pots, and started feeding with the right nutrients to match their stage. Is there any quick fix to this problem or really something I’m missing with this? Thank you all Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Looks like Calcium. A tablespoon molasses per gal should do the trick. Add into a feed or 2. What soil? Pic of the whole plant?
Harvest organic soil and some other organic soil with dr earth dry amendments (high in nitrogen, medium phosphorus, low potassium but I forget numbers) and lots of perlite. I’ve been feeding with molasses but I think I’ve been underwatering them lately. My other plant doesn’t have any of those symptoms but she has more dry amendments in the soil. I was thinking about doing a foliar feed tonight but haven’t tried that out yet Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
