I have a gallon of this stuff made that I’ve been using on... these plants ... And here’s a leaf that fell off from the same plant that appears to be from a Nitrogen deficiency I also bought these and honestly I don’t understand the instructions so I don’t know how to use it can someone help please
good move Koko, that MG fertilizer is not good. can you give us a pic of the back of the Grow formula.? i am not familiar with Dyna-Grow, but i think it is good chit.!!
Those Dyna-Gro nutes seem simple enough and are a hella lot better than that MG crap. Instructions seem easy enough after looking at their page. As you are growing in soil you should be looking at the outdoor plant feeding instructions. They say 1 - 2 tsp/gal so I'd probably start with 1 now as you will still have leftover nutes from the MG and don't want to burn your plants. After one feeding just give water the next time before feeding again. Those nutes have all the micro-nutrients so should be fine for your plants tho I consider them too high in P for optimal pot growth tho perfect for tomatoes. Nutrients are always listed as N-P-K and especially for the Bloom portion would be better if the P and K numbers were reversed. I would think about topping the plant too so it stays a little shorter and gets the side branches growing out faster. Depending on your light source you don't want to feed too much as lower light levels means the plant can't use much food as light gives it the energy it needs for growth. I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS. I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as some are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.
Flush slush flush. Run at least 2L of water through here in a single feeding, leave until soil dries out and give it the right nutes. You will see it turn around within 2 or 3 days. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
I don't really see a need to flush and that's always a last resort imo. Doesn't have any burn going on but definitely needs some decent food. We don't even know what kind of soil that is but it's clear that it needed to have a lot of perlite added. Might just turn into a lump of clay if flushed.
I definitely need perlite and I’m going to hold off on the flushing Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 Grow Formula....... Total Nitrogen (N)___7.0%* Ammoniacal (NH4)___2.6%* Nitrate (NO3)___4.4%* Phosphorus (P2O5)___9.0%* Potassium (K2O)___5.0%* Calcium (Ca)___ 2.0%* Magnesium (Mg)___0.5%* Sulfur (S)___0.05% Boron (B)___0.02% Chlorine (Cl)___0.1% Cobalt (Co)___0.0015%* Copper (Cu)___0.05%* Iron (Fe)___0.1%* Manganese (Mn)___0.05%* Molybdenum (Mo)___0.0009%* Nickel (Ni)___0.0001% Sodium (Na)___0.1% Zinc (Zn)___0.05%* this looks like good chit, the calcium is a little low and Magnesium is perty low, you might need some Cal/Mag to go with it when she gets into flower. start her on the Dyna Grow at half strength, mix a half teaspoon per gallon, get a one tsp medicine dropper from a pharmacy they work great with liquid fert's.!! I use the blue bulb dropper for measuring fert's and the big plunger to water seedlings/clones. may I also suggest..... get a cheap moisture meter with long probes (~$14) to be sure the bottom of the pot is dry enough for the next watering/feeding.! add a small amount of dolomite lime to each pot, sprinkle one Tablespoon per gallon of potting soil, do this every-time you plant/transplant and about every 4-6 weeks if they ain't been transplanted. at your local co-op the bag of lime is 8-12 dollars, but if kept dry it will last for YEARS.! save up and get some pH up and down, and get a good pH pen, Hannah or Blue Lab. sorry for the book, keep up the good work Koko.!!
