Hello, was hoping for a somewhat quick response, I have limited transportation and the closest places to me specialize in Miracle Grow products, I'm using organic and seed starter with perlite, its doing good but time for a transfer. I'm wondering if they put nute balls in the sphagnum peat moss because I'd really like to utilize my shitty resources to get the best soil for my plants. Any input welcome, gracias.
you have to look for the 3 part ratio on the bag. NPK (ex. 5-5-5) If i were you with such limited recources I would use Hempy buckets just consisting of perlite and vermiculite. Never used them but there are tons of threads on here where people have had great success. From what ive heard MG all has time release nutes in it and is frowned upon in MJ Cultivation. But really the hempy idea has made me so curious im gonna put one of my clones in the medium and see how it compares to my Ocean Forest/Light warrior/Perlite mix. Found the Link for you. https://www.greenpassion.org/index.php?/topic/2718-hempy-bucket-method/
Haha, I'm far too obsessed at this point to give up. I'll look into the hempy buckets for next time, also plan to score some FFOF by then. I'm gonna go tear a bag open and check it for balls myself I suppose, any insight still appreciated. I like your set up hxvoc, will be following it, had a similar set up planned for the future.
