I am brand new to the whole scene, and do not have friends that grow, so this is really my only resource. Ive read through all the FAQs, stickies and many threads, and now have a general idea of what all I need, but I still have a few general questions and need suggestions. I am looking to grow 10-15 plants, and will be using a 4x5 closet space. Please let me know if this is not idea. I would like to know if I should spend the extra time and save a little money and build it all myself; or spend a little extra and get a full starter kit. I am looking to spend around $600 to get my first batch going, on equipment and the other essentials. Again, let me know if I am off base here. I plan to try out a few bag seeds first, but I would like my first real grow to have as few hurdles as possible(i.e. buying a pre-built system possibly). I am willing to spend the extra time, and save a little cash to stay under budget and take the longer route too. 1. Bubble buckets - cost of building a single bucket, the time it actually takes to build each one, cost to run a system of 10-15 bubble buckets, advantages of bubble buckets? 2. Are there any devices, tricks, tools, etc. that you cant live out? 6. What have you found to be the easiest, good-great seeds to grow for a beginner? Thanks for your time, and any help! So, no suggestions on the route i should go. I HAVE used to search fuctions and read numerous threads on each topic, and have gotten a general idea; but the general idea i have is not good enough for me to answer my questions on my general setup. I more or less would like to know ABOUT bubble buckets(not how to build them), aka cost and effectiveness. I would also just like any general comments on which route would be best for my planned setup.
I am not an indoor grower, so know nothing about bubble buckets. But I just typed Search - ´bubble bucket´ - GO and got 150 threads, not posts, threads. So your answer to that topic will certainly be in there. I do want to be helpful, as do most of us, which is why I have links to some of the more FAQ in my sig. But we cannot re-invent the wheel for everyone who says, I want to grow MJ, tell me absolutely everything I need to know. The basic info is covered in a host of threads. Good luck.
