meth is becoming a epidemic, at least it seems like.. I noticed over the last couple years ive seen people getting crazy and a lot more violent and a lot of them are skin heads, skin heads on crack.

 

my 2 older brothers were hardcore skinheads, always getting in trouble. i was always the opposite tho. Also my brothers were still great people (also VERY smart), always helping our family and there friends they were just alil confused and were misguided. My oldest bro still believes a few of the skinhead views but not all. he doesn't mind africans anymore, he says that he just has a problem with "jews". i found out if u dont mention it he wont ramble on.

 

Thankyou dear fucking lord for saying that, I was just about to post a two paragraph thing about how real skinheads are totally ashamed by the racist 'skinheads', and will gladly tell you they should not even be asscociated with the name. The original, true skinheads and what they stood for has absolutely nothing to do with race.

No, you don't understand... the original skinheads didn't have anything to do with race or racial seperation at all, seperating races, seperating themselves from anyone, etc.

Like, at all... the true term skinhead, and race, don't even belong together in the same sentence, they have nothing to do with eachother.

Edit: I'll explain breifly. Being a skinhead is originally, a musical and working class affiliation. It started out in Britain in the [late] 60's. The original skinheads were just a group of people who liked a specific few, punk, ska, Oi!, reggae bands and bands of the like, and were all middle/working class, and were very proud of how hard they worked (usually in factories) for a living, and were also brought together by the music they gathered around. The term skinhead itself comes from how many of them had shaved heads, as a requirement of safety in the factories many of them worked in.

Absolutely no political or racial agenda or views at all were part of being a skinhead. The population, in my estimate, of true skinheads still outnumbers that bullshit neo nazi and racist 'skinhead' crap, and any of them will tell you that being a skinhead has nothing to do with that, and they're quite ashamed that they've wrongly become asscociated under name by that kind of ignorance.

In short, the people this thread is about are racists but not skinheads, despite what they themselves or other people may like to call them.

There are many, many skinheads who simply adhere to the original ideals -- it's a counter-culture which unfortunately was breed alongside racism in certain regions. I don't know how or why but that was the image which was taken, paraded around and is now accepted as fact.

BBC did a documentary called "World of Skinheads" and it's a wonderful explanation of the culture and it's history. It defines the differences of advert racism and skinhead culture.

I know alot of skinheads, I grew up with alot of skinheads. I can understand why people have such a vast misunderstanding yeah. Ironically, a skinheads were the reason I originally got into reggae. Alot of the early UK skinheads started playing music with reggae bands.

Where do you think Ska came from? Hahaha why do you think Lauren Aitken is called "Boss Skinhead"?

I am aware of the subculture skin heads that are completely non racist. and i understand that. but when it comes to seperation, thats where it gets into the grey area. i dont think that seperation of any one race is right.

 

SHARP skins (skinheads against racial prejudice) have a huge myspace following and evening out the originals from the racist boneheads.

The racist neo-nazis are the minority, but they are the ones who grab the attention of the media. There are black skinheads, asian skinheads -- those kind of people would NOT exist if the majority were racist.

Seriously, if you want to understand this culture better, watch that BBC documentary; it's extremly well done.

I never said 100% was racist, infact i dont even remember giving specifics. simply becouse i dont know the ratio or care. what im getting at, is to ven doggs post about racial violence. NOT about SHARP. about racism. tho, the topic did portray a racist group. in essence that is wrong.
