Nukes (Is that fertilizer?)

    I apologize for not doing a search on fertilizers, but out here in the sticks, dialup really sucks and its hard to browze let along post pics and look around.

    So I've got a nice lady in the flowering stage..I believe I used too much 'All purpose Indoor & Outdoor' fertilizer, 15-5-9..lots of stem developement so I need to go to a 'blooming' fert..

    Called the local garden center and they have a 9-69-6 water soluable fert, (I told the lady I was trying out some indoor growing on tomatoes, which are beginning to flower) and she suggested the above and a Foxfarm product with a little less of the above ratio....but does have a higher phosphate content...She says she sprays it on her tomatoe plants.

    Has anyone ever used a spray for their flowers?

    High there, if its good for tomatoes, then it should be good for flowering MJ but don't spray anything on your buds! You don't want mold

    Uhhh no sir. "Nukes" is the shortened form of the proper word "nuclear", and refers to weapons of mass destruction that are typically in a missile form. :p

    Now, with that being said I believe you're referring to "nutes", short for nutrients, and I would take the advice of the lady at the shop and pick up some of the Fox Farm product, which was probably Tiger Bloom. However, I would caution you to be careful when foliar spraying during flowering, as you biggest concern during this stage of growth will be bud mold. You're chances of getting it could be increased if your relative humidity is too high, and is then coupled with foliar feeding. Just take it very light and slow at the beginning and watch 'em carefully.
