If a guy following me around with a microphone could just save one life then I would agree. Any true patriotic american would give up their privacy for the common good. Unless they're a terrorist of course.
Man, I have been saying this exact thing. People don't really care about the NSA thing because they don't feel like its thier calls or emails being recorded. Out of sight out of mind. If some one was following everyone then everyone would be up in arms about it.
