I was looking at some grow guides I found on the forums, and came across an article that said... Vegatative Growth: Look for a nutrient mix with higher N than P or K. Something like 10:5:5; or 6:4:4 is good. Flowering: Look for something with higher P than either N or K. Something like 2:8:4 or 10:30:10 is good. ------ My question is, 6:4:4; to 10:5:5 is a big difference in ratio, no? How do I decide what to get? Does a certain ratio in between grow better or not as good? Just a simple explanation is all I ask for. Peace, Wallace
Disagree with that. K is every bit as important for flowering as P - should be at least as much. My BioCanna floracion, specially formulated for flowering MJ is 2:6:8. Read this : NPK Basic Fertiliser Components - Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium or Potash
