Chronic strain well my ph dropped to 5.7 e.c was 3.0 so I flushed them with ph water ph is now 6.1 and my ec is 0.7 I'm doing led and hps combo as I didn't think my led was strong enuff for flower I only adder hps 400w a few days ago temp 26 celsius humidity 50 cann a,+b and bloom and calmag 2.5 per ltr of all nutrients above
I think you just said it. You know how when you've been in the house a few days, and you haven't really seen the sun. I think it's like that for plants, too. They went from LED(which is soft) to HPS(which is bright like the sun). Your plants look great other than the fact I thnk they've been shocked. Can you keep them near the HPS but closer to the LED's? Maybe a few hours of HPS a day until they start looking better.
I'm thinking maybe too much light too fast and maybe too many nutrients at once. You flushed but then added nutrients right after. When I flush I give it a day or two to dry up before adding nutrients. Actually when I flush I flush with straight water and then give it water for a few days. Perks it right up. Then I slowly add more nutes. Whatever it says on the label with nutes I at least cut in half.
Cheers for replie much appropriated well I flushed 2 days running ph water and they looked great after 2nd flush just the leaves are pretty dark also I thought it was salt build up I am using coco which I never mentioned Sent from my SM-T113 using Tapatalk
Sure mate. I have grown in soil and in hydro, but never in coco. Are you just water for flush or a flushing agent? I thought the leaves looked kinda droopy which is why I thought overwatering. I usually try to overcomplicate things so I have learned to look for the simple answer first.
If you could turn off the LEDS or HPS or both and take a pic maybe I could tell the color difference a little better. I see purple stripes but I can't tell if the color of leaves if off. Which week are you in?
Yeh am just fretting to much 1st time yano the dance don't ya Al let u no if I need ya if that's OK nice 1
I've used this in hydro and soil. In hydro it cleans the roots and after an hour of flushing my plant looks green and happy. It's fairly cheap, also. You can flush with water but this helps to get rid of the salt buildup and mineral deposits in the soil. I would love to know how it works in Coco. So what would u recommend just flush aw should still ad nutrients 1/4 strength as I have flushed got ec down to 0.7 it was 3.0 and my ph was 5.7 it dropped as I ph to 5.8-6.0
I may have missed it.... I see the nutes you use, but what is the medium? 5.7 I'm going to guess coco. I personally like to float my coco ph from 5.8 to 6.2 depending on which feeding it is. Coco flushes a lot quicker than soil, and also makes nutes readily available much faster. Salts build up fast, and show signs of deficiencies even thou its a good chance of abundance. When in doubt flush. Pure water flushes I feed at 5.8. With nutes 6.2 because when it hits the coco the coco sucks in excess salts and greens(nitro). I hit, flush, hit, flush CanniAnnie's Quest for balance
Let her talk to you. Watch your new growth clear up. Imo I see a dark green color, the start of clawing, as well as the burn marks which screams nirto abundance. When her new growth gets a good lush color start back on nutes at half dose and work up watching her for her to tell you what she wants CanniAnnie's Quest for balance
