Not enjoying the high

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Tronna, Jul 18, 2018.

  1. Hi all, I have been experimenting with different strains and smoking/eds for a few years and each time I either feel nothing or I feel too high and disoriented.

I really envy the people who say it helps with their depression/anxiety cuz I have a lot of that but no relief. I've tried cbd extracts but didn't notice anything (but I heard it takes time to build up) and once I smoked a cbd only joint and felt "out of it" but in a bad way. I just wanna be calm and happy. Any advice pls?

  2. It may not be for you. CBD shouldn't really do that. It doesn't have "negative" effects THC does. R u sure the joint was CBD only? How much are you smoking at once? Try to get weed with low THC content?

  3. Try some Indica and only do a tiny hit.

  4. Some people never get any joy from smoking pot like some people don't from booze so they don't drink.

I know I don't like the too high feeling anymore but used to toke 'til I dropped and loved it. Now I prefer hi-CBD strains in edible form for my arthritis and depression.
