    My 20 year old kid got me a half ounce for Christmas. He doesn't use cannabis at all. Got it from some guy at work who says he grows and delivers.
    I'm running low, been smoking trim for several months now. The only way I can afford it is to grow it. So when I unwrapped my gift I was very appreciative. I finally got some medicine that's gonna work better after just one bowl! Within a few minutes I was doing a test drive.
    The nugs are tight, hard, like flaky rock. I bust one up and load the bowl. The shit reeks! Loading my second bowl, I trying to figure out if I feel it yet. By the end of bowl 2 I'm feeling it start to creep up. So I go back in the house and wait. Meh. 15 minutes later I feel as though I hadn't smoked all day. It did work stronger than my trim, but only for a few minutes. And I figure my tolerance ain't all that great since I've been living off trim for months.

    I always have people tell me my weed is the bomb compared to what they can get delivered to their door.
    I can't help but wonder, is this what weed has morphed into? Early indoor harvests to keep the bank account bumped? I remember Mexican brick weed that would kick ass over this crap back when it was $135 a kilo.

    I thanked my kid for the gift (it does help) and didn't say anything else about it. But I really think I'd be embarrassed to sell this crap to somebody for money. Come to think of it, I have actually apologized when giving away better weed than this.
    I hate that this comes across sounding unappreciative. It was a gift, and it does make some difference. It's just a rude awakening to think this crap brings repeat sales if this is what people expect now days. Wow.

    Who knows it could have been a naturally low thc or even cbd strain

    That did cross my mind. I usually smoke until I'm satisfied with my pain level.
    Although I got buzzed, pain management is my measuring stick. This stuff failed both.

    I'm leaning bammer.
    My mind sees other people telling me mine is better, when mine seems normal to me, and I feel as though I'm experiencing what they describe. I just wasn't expecting to be quit this disappointed.

    I just found out it was Girl Scout Cookies.
    Far as I know, it's my first experience with it.

    i feel the exact same way man. i thought as i got older i was losing my sense of smell but it just looks like these new growers are just lazy with no patience for perfection. sure it looks pretty but thats about it.
