Northern Lights Grow

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by mae5tr0, Sep 6, 2014.

  1. Hello everybody. I am new to this journaling thing so forgive me if this one isn't as good as the others. Also forgive me because I am starting about a month into things. What I have going on is two northern lights plants under a 600 watt mh (will be switching to hps durring flowering). I have them in straight fox farm ocean forest in five gallon buckets. As far as nutes go I am using fox farm big bloom and grow big (will be using tiger bloom durring flowering). They recieved their first feeding last Sunday. Right now they have me a little worried because I have some leaves canoeing and getting brown dry spots. I am looking to get some more experienced growers feedback on what I might be doing wrong or what I might be doing right. So if you have an opinion on anything you see here please don't hesitate to share. Thank you.

Hey man, your leaves are canoeing due to your light being to close to them.
How far are the lights from the top of the plant?
If your running 600w MH you need them a good 3 foot above the plant.

Let me know how you get on.

Subbed up if you need help.

  3. They are gone now. I had to get rid of them. I gave them to a friend. I need to let things cool off a bit around here before I can grow.

  4. Sorry to here that man.

Thanks for the help though. I am just glad they went to a friend so I still get to smoke on some Northern Lights in a couple months.
