Normal Yellowing?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Subpar, Mar 21, 2021.

  1. So I'm assuming this is normal since from my understanding nitrogen is either used up or not needed during this stage. I'm getting fairly far into flowering and my leaves are yellowing and dieing off.. They're not crispy but fast changing to yellow. I did notice some sugar leaf being white tipped as well, so I put my lights up a bit because they were fairly close but here is a vid.

HD Might take a minute. >.>

  2. Normal fade.
Depending on strain (some pluck easy) as they yellow and droop they are done and can be pulled.
    Put your light back down.

  10. Yup, from what I've been reading/studying how to grow they say during flower you want 6.7PH regular Veg was PH'd at 6.5

I just watered with 6.6 PH today with 0 nutes.

My soil is FoxFarm OceanForest+Happy Frog with Natures Living soil twords the bottom of the pot, and a little chunk I buried closer to the top of the soil.
Been using Humboldt Secret Sweet and Sticky and their Flower Stacker as well as a dose of Cal-mag. Fed em 2x last week figured I'd just do plain water this week.

  12. Daaang, got some tall ones there!

These are my first full run plants ever, I've had 2 other grows I only did veg and then ended up moving inbetween cycles. I was adding in dry amendments (Bloodmeal during veg with little Bone Meal, and then a week before flower I gave more Bonemeal) + I've got bottled nutes I can mix into the water if I feel they needed a bit of a boost.

My tent is 3x3, RH in the low 40's, SF-4000 beaming down. Temps range from 68 at night if I forget to turn the heating on otherwise it's 73 typically at night to 88 during the day.

The buds are looking nice, and they're sticky. I notice most of the trichs are cloudy and the white pistles are turning orange on my one plant.

The second plant is starting show some definite purple in the leaves and buds now.

Plan is to chop the first one down as soon as I've got majority cloudy trichs and partial amber.
I think I might have to wait a little bit on the other plant as it's still got loads of white hairs and the buds are still very small and don't feel like much.

  14. Getting more Yeller.... And Purple
I did chop about 3/4ths of the left plant down last week, figured I'd see if it keeps growing under light (It didn't really) Yielded a whopping 3 oz so far off it lol.. I assume that's a QP plant... This one on the right.. Maybe a little above a QP, the branches are actually pretty stacked so we will see..

I'm getting tired of waiting, but it looks like all these Trichs are cloudy now
