You can post any thread you want to an extent, I only put Psams thread because you mentioned it in your post + he's helped me before & so has @BrassNwood you should check out his hash cap thread he also knows a thing or 2 about making potent edibles/oil

 

You can get a tincture that will be effective at 4-6 drops with 1g of flower to one oz of 190 but you won't get much of it. If you have a bud that's 20% then you'll get a tincture that's about 5mg/ml. If you use 15ml instead of 30 then your tincture will be about 10mg/ml. Use more flowers per ounce of alcohol then evaporate that to for more potency. These numbers are just hypothetical based on 25% loss from extraction.

1 quart jar of rough ground bud. (Decarbed 240 F for 40 minutes uncovered)
1 fifth 190-151 proof Everclear (cold)
Pour booze over weed. Enough booze over the weed to agitate. Shake hard 10 seconds. Done. Pour off tincture. Press out weed with potato ricer or garlic press.
Scale up or down as needed.

I get back 500ml of very potent tincture fro the 750ml of Everclear I started with per quart of buds.

I do both Alcohol Tinctures and Edible oil at very potent ratios. The minimum of solvents required gives the highest mg per ml.

The Kief-Coconut oil-Lecithin capsules I make are most effective at stopping my post surgical pain cold. It just goes away. Works better 99% of the time then "prescription" meds. The only side effect is a semi permanent case of being "stoned" all the time.

Sometimes the old school ways are better than the new ones for some things. Tincture making is one of those things in my opinion. "Control" is the key word.
