  1. So here are my girls. 2 orange velvet Cinderella 99, and 3 gelato (all feminized and from reputable source). Lights, I have sf1000 led, 138w ufo led, 150w hps (only using sf1000 until flower)
My medium is mostly coco coir, perlite and some potting soil. So far only ph7 tap water w/calmag 3-4mg per gallon.
Results are super mixed. One is beautiful, two seem stunted, 1 is yellow and 1 is droopy. I transplanted to early and possibly watered too much. Temps between 76-84, RH 45-55%. I have two small desk fans (one blowing up, one blowing down onto plants). I will be obtaining inline w/filter at flower time.
    Talk to me...suggestions? See pics!

  2. It might be the soil in the mix making it harder to set correct PH for coco/soiless, afaik it's quite bit lower PH recommended for coco. I have no experience with coco/soiless. Also when you can buy some black plastic or perhaps fabric pots so roots don't get light.

  3. So hatmat is spot on correct with the pH and clear container. Coco is soiless. Means it is just a medium to give space for roots to grow. It does not contain or hold any food-nutrients. You need to fertilise everyday watering and it should be at least once a day. Since you add fertiliser everyday you need to water untill you get about 20% runoff because otherwise you create a salt built up at the bottom of your containers. So make sure you have draining holes and a way to catch up runoff, get some nutrient for coco and start feeding asap.

  4. I haven't even finished reading but I will but I already must say please use all your lights during flower. If you are going to pick a time to not use some please do so during vegetation. I have a 150 hps and 600. My 150 is hydro planet. What's yours?

  5. I'm so sorry I misread. Until flower only using SF. That's a lot different

  6. Depends on your temperature about inline fan. I used mine while lights on part of the veg time without my carbon filter but I did hook the filter up before flower because whatever strain I'm growing from bagseed really smells strong before flower flip a few weeks

  7. I meant to add I used my inline fan most of the entire veg also because of temperature but I have an air conditioning system now. I still did use the inline fan some to suck ambient temperature in there and then started using a lot more when I added my 600 hps and took my 150 out

  8. If you hadnt added that soil it wouldve been litteraly close to impossible to get any issue from too much watering mate.
Shouldn't mix soil and hydroponics it's extremely unpredictable.
Some folk get away with it.
    Most get nothing but dramas.

    The reason being the following.
Soil requires a ph range of 6.5-7.3 roughly (I'm not a soil grower)
Coco requires a ph of 5.7-6.5.
Doesn't sound like a big difference but its a massive one.
Soil also requires a wet/dry cycle.
It doesn't hold air very well so if you don't let it dry out then they suffocate(not drown)
Coco isn't like that though. If you let that dry out, what happens is the nutes turn back into salts and build up.
Makes it easy to fry a pretty big plant with a relatively tiny dose. Fucks the PH all over the place too.
So yeah, no easy fixes if anything goes wrong as what fixes one fucks the other and vice versa.

  10. Thanks for the reply. Would you attempt to re-pot or am I too far along and just do damage to roots? I have more seeds so perhaps I should start over (keeping the good one as experiment and possible mother)

  11. Yeah I like those little ones
