Ok so until my 400w mh kit arrives, I've got my 4" sprouts under 2x "tranquility" brand blue 90w bulbs and 2x 20w blue cfl bulbs. Now my plants seem to like the tranquility bulbs yet some seem to be turning towards the cfls. I have 2x 30w (120w equivalent) cfl bulbs just sitting in my kitchen and I'm wondering if I should switch them with the tranquility bulbs? Someone commented on a previous post of mine that the 90w tranquility are useless and a waste of wattage... Maybe just switch one and see which plants show better growth?
I made the switch from halogen plant bulbs to CFL's and they are much better. If the tranquility bulbs are like mine they kick a shit-ton of heat and the plants stretch past them (or to the CFL's). I'd swap em out personally.
Check my sig grow, you can expect the growth to really explode, mine did. In a couple days youll see the ladies thanking you for switching out those heat-pumping shit-lamps.
